At Rutland Small Animal Boarding, we understand that your pets are cherished members of the family. Our aim is to provide a safe, comfortable, and caring home-from-home environment while you're away.

  • Comfortable Accommodation

    All guests are housed in clean, secure hutches designed to provide plenty of space, comfort, and protection from the weather. Each enclosure is carefully maintained to ensure a safe and hygienic environment throughout your pet's stay.

  • Outdoor Time & Enrichment

    Where appropriate and weather permitting, rabbits and guinea pigs can enjoy access to fresh grass for grazing and exercise. We provide shaded areas and shelter to ensure pets remain comfortable throughout the day.

  • Feeding

    To help prevent upset tummies and maintain your pet's normal routine, owners are asked to provide their pet's usual dried food for the duration of their stay. We provide a fresh variety of vegetables and feeding hay daily, ensuring your pet receives a healthy and balanced diet while in our care.

  • Regular Updates

    We know how much you'll miss your pets while you're away. That's why we can provide updates and photographs during their stay, giving you complete peace of mind that they are happy, healthy, and being well cared for.

  • Health & Welfare

    Your pet's wellbeing is our highest priority. We carefully monitor all animals throughout their stay and will contact you immediately should we have any concerns regarding their health or welfare.

  • Medication Support

    We understand that some pets require additional care. Oral medications and supplements can be administered by prior arrangement. A small supplement applies for medication administration. Please discuss your pet's requirements when booking so we can ensure we can meet their needs.

  • Bring Familiar Items

    We encourage you to bring any toys, treats, blankets, hideaways, or other familiar items that will provide your pet with the comforts of home. Familiar scents and favourite belongings can help pets settle in more quickly and enjoy a relaxed, stress-free stay.

  • Short & Long Stays

    Whether you're away for a long weekend, family holiday, or business trip, we offer flexible boarding from a minimum stay of 2 nights to several weeks. We kindly ask for as much notice as possible when booking, particularly during peak holiday periods, but understand that emergencies can arise and will always do our best to accommodate last-minute requests where space allows.
