I'm Emmalie, and Rutland Small Animal Boarding is run by our family here in Uppingham. I live with my husband and our two children, along with our dog and two guinea pigs — so caring for animals is a natural part of everyday life in our home.

I've always loved animals, and I wanted to offer that same care and affection to other people's pets too. This is not a large commercial setup; it is personal, family-run boarding where your pets are known by name and treated as part of the family while you are away.

Your pets will receive plenty of attention, gentle handling, and daily welfare checks. We take time to get to know each guest, follow their usual routines where we can, and are happy to send updates and photographs so you can see they are settled, comfortable, and well cared for.

Our accommodation is designed for comfort and security, with spacious hutches, fresh hay and vegetables provided daily, and secure outdoor run access when the weather allows.

We are fully insured and committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all our guests.
